The inaugural district Venturer games awards was held tonight and the trophy taken home by the smallest team.

The “Mighty Milparinka” by which they shall be addressed every time their name is mentioned until the next games (Wed 4th Feb 2015) took home glory by a large margin, mostly by a couple of solid rounds that scored big, like the “Ping-pong Witch” and “Suck it Up Princess”.

Honourable mentions go to Eliza for sitting still long enough to let Bianca cocoon her in 30m of gladwrap, and new-chum Crystal for acing the HoolaHoop ball challenge.

Sportsman award to Rhys for helping Monte out, and the Tony Mokbel award to Neil and Carmen for setting the benchmark in the “scrambled egg toss” by cheating in the very first game of the night!

It was a fun District event, attended by 3rd and 1st Doncaster, Warrandyte, Templestowe and Lower temp, and our district leader Christine who managed to complete the Golf-ball Balance!
